RIAD is a non-profit child centered organization that is aimed to ignite change among the refugees and the hosting community through building inclusive local ideology innovation to defend the right of children for wealthy, healthy and productive society. OUR VISION Transformed communities for better self-reliance OUR MISSION Mission: Promote quality extension programs and projects to needy individuals, families and communities so as to empower them in areas of education, health, livelihood, environment, natural resources, protection as well as good governance for wealth, health and productive society. Innovation: Focused on developing a new way to approach a problem for the sake of humanity Community participation: We believe community participation is an essential part of the process of good local governance and community development, therefore we consider participatory approaches as critical instrument in the organization Voluntarism: We are committed to serving the humanity on voluntary basis. Our self-motivation and team work does not only give us material things but also time to serve the youth community in Uganda with appropriate knowledge Gender equality: We are committed to promote gender equality and inclusiveness among children living with disability, girls and removing any barriers that prevent full participation of women, people with disability in public and political life. Sustainability: We are committed to maintain and support the needs of current generations without compromising the needs of the future generation through training on some courses like carpentry and joinery, Tailoring and gamete cutting, Farming As a business (FAAB). Transparency and accountability: at the core of accountability is reliability and personal responsibility; therefore, we value the ability of our staff and organization to honor our commitments. We will also take responsibility for our work and correct the wrong into right at the greatest extent possible.
